Chanting & Meditation Satsang

Shri Guru Gita recitation

Composed of Sanskrit verses from ancient Indian scriptures, the sacred text Shri Guru Gita describes the Guru-disciple relationship and its supreme role in the attainment of Self-realization. Shri Guru Gita or “Song of the Guru” is recited in the morning in Siddha Yoga ashrams and meditation centers, and in the homes of Siddha Yoga devotees all over the world. You can purchase your own chanting book, The Nectar of Chanting, from siddhayogabookstore.org.

Sunday, September 22: Introduction to Siddha Yoga Meditation — especially designed for those new to meditation, but will also benefit those wishing to strengthen an existing practice. We will be guided through each aspect of Siddha Yoga meditation, including posture, breath, and mantra.

October 6: Celebration Satsang in Honor of Baba Muktananda’s Mahasamadhi

October 20: Preparation Satsang for the Shaktipat Intensive®; all are welcome and will find the satsang beneficial, whether or not you plan to attend the intensive

November 3: Shri Guru Gita recitation (please note the fall TIME CHANGE)

November 17: Gratitude Satsang

WHERE: These regular events are held at The Weston Community Center, 20 Alphabet Lane, Weston, MA, upper (main) level

TIME: 9:30 – 11:00 am (hall opens at 9:15 am), followed by refreshments and social time
